King Monada, born Khutso Steven Kgatle, is a South African singer, songwriter, and producer from Ga-Lekhotho village in Limpopo. Rising to national fame with the 2016 hit “Ska Bhora Moreki,” he became a household name with the viral sensation “Malwedhe” in 2018, which sparked the #IdibalaChallenge globally.
Known for singing in Khelobedu and Sepedi, King Monada’s music reflects everyday life, love, and humor—rooted in the culture of the people. His sound has redefined Limpopo music and earned him numerous awards and international recognition.
