Musical Journey

In 2004, Slim Q founded the InQgnito music label, aiming to nurture and promote local talent. Under this label, he produced the 2007 album “Independence Day” for the rap group Stealth Independence, of which he was a member. The album’s innovative sound led many to believe it was produced outside of Eswatini, highlighting Slim Q’s unique approach to music production.

Throughout his career, Slim Q has collaborated with and mentored various artists, including Ghetto Villah, Paige, NDR, Sisa, Cup and Lollipop, and Mageez. His commitment to fostering local talent has been instrumental in the growth of Eswatini’s music scene.

Recent Endeavors

While Slim Q’s personal artistic output has become less frequent, he remains actively involved in the industry through his label, InQgnito. He continues to produce compilations and support emerging artists, ensuring that unique and innovative music thrives in Eswatini.
