“These songs I wrote are like a contrast of who the people that know me think I am.” Enfolding sensuality, boldness and intimacy into her neo-soul, Afropop and amapiano-infused R&B, the De Aar native deftly employs a multi-dimensional slant to her storytelling. “You’re also getting the other side of each story,” she says.
