Grixxly biography: Sibusiso Malambe, known as Grixxly, is a hip-hop artist and producer from Mbabane, Eswatini.

Early Career and Debut EP

In 2021, Grixxly released his highly anticipated debut EP, As The Fruit Ripens. This self-produced, five-track project showcases his versatility over hard-hitting trap beats and soul-infused samples. The EP features collaborations with artists such as Oriiginelle on “Brema to Rio,” where Grixxly articulates his ambition to extend his musical reach beyond Eswatini’s borders.

Subsequent Releases and Collaborations

Following his debut, Grixxly continued to make his mark with notable releases. In March 2024, he unveiled “MusaWenkhosi,” a drill-infused anthem reflecting on divine guidance, which resonated deeply with audiences in Eswatini. This was followed by “No Mistakes” in April 2024, a collaboration with fellow Eswatini rapper Amarii, further solidifying his position in the hip-hop community. On October 25, 2024, Grixxly released “Si Kasa,” featuring label mate Mzwaa, a track that delves into themes of perseverance and hope.

Recent Endeavors

In late 2024, Grixxly expanded his collaborative efforts by featuring South African rapper PdotO on the single “Where I’m From,” a track that explores their respective roots and experiences. This collaboration highlights Grixxly’s commitment to bridging artistic expressions across borders.
